After Colorado Springs shooting, Walker leans into anti-trans message

Jezebel Headline

REPORT: Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker gave an “unhinged transphobic speech” described as “wildly bigoted” just one day after the shooting in a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub that left five dead and nearly 20 injured.

Yesterday, Walker released an ad attacking the LGBTQ community and opposing the Equality Act.

We have 2 weeks to stop Walker and his dangerous hate from poisoning the U.S. Senate for SIX YEARS.

Donate any amount to Raphael Warnock’s campaign to counter this hatred that is so dangerous for some of our country’s most vulnerable communities and to keep this Senate seat in safe hands.

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between Raphael Warnock's campaign and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

Or, donate another amount.

There’s more. Walker released his ad right on the heels of the Transgender Day of Remembrance -- Nov 20 -- an annual day to honor the memory of transgender people who were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. It’s unlikely that was a coincidence.

Disgusting attacks like this have defined Herschel Walker’s campaign. This is exactly why we need to help Sen. Raphael Warnock defeat Walker in the U.S. Senate runoff election in Georgia in just 2 weeks.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
