Good News in New Jersey
  • The NJ Globe 2019 Year in Review is out and Action Together New Jersey, represented by our executive director Uyen Khuong, is listed as one of the Grassroots Organization of the Year Runners Up (page 25). With NJ 11th for Change, represented by Saily Avelenda, as one of the other Runners Up and NJ Working Families Alliance, represented by Sue Altman, as the Organization of the Year, we think we're in pretty good company! 
     
  • The Trump administration is trying to destroy Planned Parenthood and any other clinic that acknowledges abortion, but New Jersey is fighting back. Governor Murphy signed a bill last week giving funding to family planning clinics like Planned Parenthood.
