Washington State Broadband Office accepting applications for broadband infrastructure projects

The Washington State Broadband Office (WSBO) is accepting applications for broadband infrastructure grants now through Jan.17, 2023.

Who can apply


* Local governments (including public ports and public utility districts)
* Federally-recognized tribes
* Nonprofit organizations and?nonprofit cooperative organizations
* Multiparty entities that consist of at least one public partner

Approximately $120 million in federal ARPA capital funding is available for grants. *Projects can qualify for up to $12 million dollars each*, and require a 10% cash match. Proposed projects must construct broadband infrastructure designed to deliver last mile broadband service.

All applicants must demonstrate an effort to consult with incumbent service providers in the area prior to submitting their application.
