Our work isn't slowing down.
Hey, John — Adrastos here.
On November 8th, we re-elected Cori to Congress. But with so much at stake, our work isn't slowing down.
Here's what's next:
1. Expand the Senate majority: The Georgia Senate race between Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker will be decided by a runoff election on December 6th, so we're working to ensure a 51-seat Democratic majority in the Senate.
2. Finish the 117th Congress strong: Democrats have a long list of priorities for the "lame-duck" session, and Cori will be working hard to ensure that legislation expanding health care, protecting Dreamers, funding COVID-19 relief, and more receives a vote.
3. Prepare for the 118th Congress: The House will officially be controlled by Republicans starting January 3, 2023, so we need to begin readying to go up against far-right members of Congress to ensure we deliver for St. Louis.
We need to keep up our fight. Please, will you chip in $5 or more now to help advance our agenda and power Cori's organizing to transform politics?
Chip in $5
As a mother, nurse, and politivist in Congress, Cori works every day to save lives and make this a more just world — but she can't do this job alone. Cori doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs, so we rely on grassroots supporters (like you!) to fund our efforts.
To be candid, we need your support now more than ever. Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is coming up next week, and right now we're tracking behind our projections.
We need a surge in online donations if we're going to catch up ahead of the holiday.
If you're with Cori in this movement, will you chip in your first $5 so we can continue growing our progressive movement and create the change our communities need?
In solidarity,
Adrastos Da Silva
