John, Giving Tuesday is one week away on Tuesday, November 29!
This global event celebrates the power of generosity and gives each of us an opportunity to support the causes we love — like Sister District’s work to build lasting progressive power in state legislatures across the country. 😉
You are probably going to be hearing from a lot of organizations in the coming days, and we want to make sure you remember to include Sister District on your list of groups to support.
Your generosity and activism paved the way for momentous victories at the state level this year. To build on our progress during the coming election cycle, we’ll be launching a $50,000 goal for Giving Tuesday. And since it is the holiday season, we put together a wishlist of the tools, programs, and initiatives that we need your help funding over the next week.
John, if you’d like to get an early headstart on your giving, make your gift now to become one of our first Giving Tuesday donors and ensure we have the resources and tools we need to power the fight to elect progressive state leaders.
Sister District is the only national grassroots organization focused exclusively on state legislatures. As you saw this year, from safeguarding our elections to defending abortion rights, some of our most consequential fights are happening at the state level — and we play a pivotal role in electing leaders who will stand up for our progressive values.
Last year, we were inspired to see the generosity of so many of our supporters for Giving Tuesday, who helped us raise critical funds that helped secure historic wins this midterm, but our work isn’t over. With your support during our Giving Tuesday campaign, we’ll be prepared to kickstart the next phase of our fight. 💪
