This Thanksgiving Week, we're letting the most dedicated members of our movement know how much we appreciate them.

Moms Demand Action

John–

This week has been hard. Yet again, we're grieving a mass shooting that targeted a marginalized community and shattered our sense of safety and peace.

We've been here before—and each time, we've risen to the occasion to support survivors and demand action that honors the victims.

This year has been a powerful example of that resolve. In the wake of gun violence in Buffalo, Uvalde, and communities in all 50 states, our volunteers turned grief into action. Because of them, Congress passed a major gun safety law for the first time in nearly 30 years.

But they didn't stop there: They elected Gun Sense Champions up and down the ballot, ran for office themselves, flipped statehouses, passed laws to promote secure storage and fund violence intervention, and fought off several attempts by the gun industry and its allies to gut our gun laws.

Our movement has had a historic year, and the work our volunteers have done has been nothing short of life-saving.

These difficult times remind us that it's all the more important to make sure our most committed members know how much they're appreciated. Let the volunteers who power this movement know why you're thankful for them: Send a thank you note today.

SEND YOUR THANK YOU NOTE

I've always said this movement is special, and that's because it's powered by millions of people across the country who are willing to show up and demand action time and time again. From making calls to elect Gun Sense Candidates to hosting presentations on secure storage, moms are everywhere.

When the going gets tough, we often say #KeepGoing. It's an attitude that's gotten us through heartbreaking losses and deadly tragedies as we work to end the gun violence crisis.

This year has proven the strength of that approach—and now, in a season when we reflect on what we're grateful for, we owe it to our volunteers to let them know how much they matter to each and every one of us.

As we grapple with the news out of Colorado Springs, and as we prepare to head into some tough state legislative fights, our work will continue. By sending a thank you note to our volunteers, you can help keep them motivated and in high spirits in the months ahead.

Together, we can #KeepGoing and save lives.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.
