John, While we successfully staved off a red wave at the polls this November, it looks like control of the U.S. House just barely fell into Republican hands. With that in mind, it’s all the more reason we need to expand our Senate majority. Right now, Democrats just have one tie-breaking vote, but we can win the 51st vote by reelecting Senator Raphael Warnock. Rev. Warnock has committed his life to public service, serving as Senior Pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church, the former pulpit of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and working to alleviate poverty and expand access to healthcare. He is a champion for working families and a much needed presence in the Senate. Though Rev. Warnock received more votes this November, neither he or his Republican opponent achieved 50 percent of the vote, sending them to a runoff election on December 6. Rev. Warnock is up against a far-right MAGA extremist who’s in it for himself, not the people of Georgia or the country as a whole. But right-wing Super PACs are spending millions to stop Rev. Warnock, just like they did to try to stop me.
