'Tis the season for gratitude

Today and every day, we are grateful for YOU and all you do to give safe haven, healing, and hope to your neighbors at Doorways. As the holiday season ramps up with Thanksgiving this week, we wish you and your loved ones a season full of joy! And next week, stay tuned for our annual Giving Tuesday gift to you — words of thanks from our clients. Happy holidays!

Thanks to you, Winter Wishes come true!

Every client at Doorways matched with a Winter Wishes sponsor!

Thanks to an outpouring of generosity and kindness from our amazing community of supporters, 200 adults and children at Doorways have been matched with a sponsor! That means that each person will get a new winter coat and a $100 gift card to shop the season for what they need and want. Winter Wishes is magical. Thank you!

Askable Adult

What makes someone “askable”?

"To help us learn what it means to be an Askable Adult, I was joined by three dynamic and devoted Arlington community builders: Ashley Blowe, Training and Prevention Specialist, Department of Human Services; Siobhan Grayson, Youth Outreach Coordinator for the Prevention Unit under the Department of Human Services; and Scotney Young, Prevention and Outreach Manager at Doorways, a domestic and sexual violence response organization."
