The status quo in America cannot continue.
So I’m pushing the envelope by challenging Kevin McCarthy for the GOP nomination to be Speaker of the House.
As members of the Freedom Caucus, my colleagues and I have gone to Leader McCarthy several times and instead of taking a stand for Americans, he’s refused to take action:
-
He didn’t stand with us to fight against the National Defense Authorization Act, which failed to protect our soldiers from being forced to get the COVID vaccine or face expulsion;
-
He didn’t support our call for an amendment to mandate single-subject bills, instead of the 3,000 page legislation that we’ve seen pass the House before it can even fully be read; and
- He didn’t back our efforts to restore the ability tools to Vacate the Chair and put the brakes on Pelosi’s bully pulpit tactics.
The Radical Left pushed our nation towards its ruin with their extreme agenda and Leader McCarthy had two years to take a stand.
I discussed this recently on Bannon’s War Room, which can be seen here:

When I served as the Arizona State Senate President, I successfully worked with people from divergent viewpoints. I’m eager to fight for our nation now on the pressing matters that need our attention.
The next three weeks in Congress are critical for defining our focus for the next two years. This contest for House Leadership will force discourse and debate on how this newly elected body will deliver on our promises.
I’m grateful to everyone who has reached out with messages of support for my bid to serve as House Speaker, and look forward to making good on my America First Contract to the people!
