During the apprenticeship program, our participants learn hands-on skills, gain knowledge during classroom instruction, and soft skills that help them navigate the workforce. All program participants are paid livable wages during cohort training prior to being placed directly in union apprenticeships. We have served over 413 participants thus far, with a 75% graduation rate and 82% placement rate of graduates. Hundreds of formerly incarcerated people in California are now union members earning a living wage which allows them to support themselves, their families, and their communities.
Your support of ARC helps end mass incarceration AND allows our Members the opportunity to learn a new skill, enter the workforce, and maintain steady jobs. Your support will allow us to expand this program and serve even more Members. Will you make a gift today to continue making a difference in the lives of our Members and our community?
Thank you for your commitment to support our Members in our apprenticeship program and for making it possible for them to have a successful future. Everyone deserves equal opportunity and access to stable employment, and we're proud to support these efforts.
Sincerely,
Sam Lewis
