Over the weekend, we just wrapped up our “Clock is Ticking for Citizenship” Week of Action. 📣People all across the country took action in their communities for citizenship - from Missouri, Utah, DC, and in my state of New York! Seeing how creative people got with taking our demand to Congress brought me so much energy and inspiration for the future.🧡
Immigrant youth and allies made calls to congress, sent letters, and took to the streets!⏰ In DC, members delivered a larger than life clock to Congress to serve as a reminder they can’t ignore - that the time to deliver citizenship is NOW! 🔥If you missed out on taking action in your community last week, you can still take action right now wherever you are!👉 Can you take a second and send a letter to key members of Congress who need to hear from us?

As a mom and a DACA recipient, the idea of the Biden Administration and Congress leaving this year without delivering citizenship has me feeling anxious and angry. 😡They promised to protect our immigrant communities, but if they don’t take action this year to deliver citizenship they’re putting my family at risk of separation, deportation, and instability. The incoming Republican House of Representatives will be deeply anti-immigrant and with just a few weeks left with Dems in control, they must act THIS YEAR!
