I want to thank each and every one of you again for all your hard work during this election. We kept Illinois blue, flipped red seats, and defended our 50-vote Democratic Senate majority.

Now, we have another big task ahead of us on December 6 when my friend Senator Raphael Warnock faces a runoff election in Georgia. If he wins, he will become Democrats’ 51st vote.

I know we can do this. Donate now to re-elect Senator Warnock and expand our majority.

Pundits and poll watchers were quick to count Democrats out this cycle. But the voters have delivered us a Democratic Senate — a crucial check on the incoming Republican-led House.

With 51 Democrats, we can be even more effective at stopping the GOP’s hyper-partisan antics and focusing instead on passing legislation, confirming judges, and the other work ahead of us.

But the race in Georgia is extremely close — and if we come up short, Republicans will replace Senator Warnock with a candidate who has no business serving in the United States Senate.
