This summer, I joined ATU 689 members on strike at Hubbard Road. Through their dedication, ATU 689 members took on Transdev yet again, and won. Workers are showing through their collective action that privatization with poverty wages is a losing plan. I am excited to celebrate these workers and all the awardees – The Museum, Luz Chavez, Migrant Mutual Aid, and National Domestic Workers Alliance – DC. Join me on December 5th at the I’ll Be There Awards.
