Women in Business Master Class: How to Preserve Yourself While Building Your Career

Tuesday, December 6 | 9:00-10:00 a.m. | Chamber Boardroom

For all professionals, but especially professional women, sacrificing our own well-being to support everyone and everything else has become so common it seems normal, even required. This is costing us mentally, physically, emotionally, and even financially. When we don’t invest in our well-being, we increase our risks for burnout, anxiety, depression, musculoskeletal pain, metabolic disease, decreased critical thinking, slower response times, poor sleep…the list goes on. And when any of these occur our work performance suffers, costing us time and money.

Arlington Chamber Announces 2023 Policy Positions

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce recently released its policy position recommendations for 2023. The policy positions comprise two documents: one containing legislative priorities for the Virginia General Assembly’s 2023 session, and one focused on local issues within the purview of Arlington County’s government.

In these documents, the Chamber advocates for Arlington and Virginia to maintain and build strong partnerships between government and the business community, support businesses struggling with rising inflation and costs of living, expand efforts to increase the supply of housing, continue to prioritize economic development by supporting businesses of all sizes, and sustain a robust public infrastructure.
