The 2023 Summit for Religious Freedom is not your average conference. SRF is the hub for our collective fight for religious freedom, church-state separation and the issues that depend on them like LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive rights, protecting public schools and more. It’s a big tent – we’re welcoming everyone from longtime advocates to those just discovering the issue and its critical role in protecting our democracy, our equality and our rights.

SRF is a collaborative effort with AU’s allies to defeat the biggest threats we face – including Christian nationalists, right-wing radicals and their political allies who’ve launched a coordinated campaign to force us to all live by their narrow religious beliefs.

We want SRF to be accessible to all. Participants can attend in person in Washington, D.C., for the full program, or virtually for a curated selection of activities. We’ll also be offering registrants access to virtual events year-round that respond to current events and build networking opportunities – our first webinar was last week!
