This week, lawmakers are out on a holiday recess following the wrap of midterm elections. With Democrats continuing to lead the Senate and Republicans taking over the House in the 118th Congress – set to start Jan. 3, 2023 – there are several leadership changes expected in both chambers.

Existing home sales decline again in October ([link removed] )

Existing home sales declined 5.9 percent in October to a seasonally-adjusted annualized rate of 4.4 million units, marking the ninth straight month of declining sales and representing a 28.4 percent decrease in sales compared to last year.
