Job vacancy – Head of Peer Services (peer role)Part-time: 28 hrs per week, contract until 31st March 2025, extendable subject to funding Location: NW9, London (Hybrid) Salary: £43,000 per year pro rata, actual salary £34,400 Closing date: 1 December 2022, 23:59 This is an amazing opportunity for someone with lived experience of disability (which could include experience of mental health issues or a long-term condition) to lead on our Peer Services function. This is really varied and interesting role, where time will be split between supporting our service manager, developing and delivering training, advising on co-production, and leading practitioner meetings around related topics, including safeguarding. Singing For Mindfulness and Mental Wellbeing (From Crawley Mindfulness Centre), Wednesdays 6.00 - 7.00pmAn hour of singing for the soul. Victoria will share with you some short, simple but deeply nourishing or uplifting songs that will go in easily, no matter what your experience. Attendees are muted for the songs which means you can sing out loud without any inhibition! And even ad lib over the top if you want! Attendees can also keep videos off if preferable. Peer Leadership Development Programme - online training at Future LearnThe main aim of the programme is to support people with lived experience to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to become effective Peer Leaders for personalised care. A ‘Peer Leader’ is ‘a person with lived experience who is committed to working collaboratively with the health and care system to influence the way personalised care is developed and delivered’. The Peer Leadership Development Programme is open to everyone
but is mainly aimed at people who could benefit from personalised care, for example, disabled people, people who have a long-term health condition and/or their family carer. More information and enrol on Peer Leadership Development Programme
Creative CommunitiesCreative Communities is a Barnet Council initiative, led by the Library Service to deliver a programme of free events, activities, and experiences specifically for the residents of Colindale. A wide range of exciting events are being planned and delivered for children, teens and adults. More information on Creative Communities
Insight into Creative Psychotherapy (Expressing Emotions Creatively) (From Crawley Mindfulness Centre), Monday 21 November, 6.00 - 7.00pmA chance to express yourself creatively, using creative therapeutic techniques and exercises facilitated by Dramatherapist Emma-Jo. These classes provide insight into ways you can include creativity in your life to help process emotions, trauma, to aid healing, stress, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed and more, within creative methods to aid safety. Guided meditations will be used throughout and a chance to check in with yourself,

Addictive Eaters Anonymous online meetings, Thursdays 6.30 - 7.30am and Fridays 7.00 - 8.00pmAddictive Eaters Anonymous (AEA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addictive eating. AEA has members who have suffered from anorexia, bulimia and binge eating. Many have been underweight, overweight or obese; others were people of average
weight yet suffered with an obsession with food. Members may have used exercise and other substances to try and control their weight. Before coming to AEA, members found that they were powerless over food, and unable to stop the food obsession. More information about Addictive Eaters Anonymous meetings

volunteers and the people who use our services to design and deliver higher quality, more person-centred services.
