John – Brianna here. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since Michigan voters secured fair maps through the new Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission (MICRC).
Fair maps and histroic ballot proposals drove record turnout in Michigan this fall and the results are making a splash in headlines! Check out the latest news:

As a Michigan native, I’m so excited to see the progress Michiganders fought for over the past few years, everything from reclaiming the pen in redistricting, expanding voting rights, protecting access to abortions and keeping election deniers out of the state legislature. I hope you are, too, because we did not achieve this movement's success without Michiganders and All On The Line’s grassroots support like you.
There was a long road to progress in places like Michigan. We prevailed against significant challenges over the years to reach this critical point. Here's a quick rundown of how Michiganders secured a fair map.
- In 2018, 61% of Michigan voters backed a redistricting plan to assure equal state and federal representation.
- The MICRC convened in-person and virtual hearings and processed over 500 public comments in 2021 to generate - congressional and state legislature maps ON TIME.
- Before the 2022 election on these maps, map manipulators so anxious to stay in power attempted to eliminate the MICRC, rejecting the people's will and removing a voter-protection amendment in Michigan. They failed.
- All On The Line's partnership with Power The Polls helped recruit 195 volunteers to serve as poll workers.
Yes, it took a lot of work. This is why grassroots support from people like you is vital to ensure our work continues when future challenges arise that undermine the people's voice. We will be there prepared and ready -- to combat the anti-democratic tactics of map manipulators.
John, if you want to continue to strengthen our democracy by protecting fair maps, now and in the future, will you chip in to support All On The Line today? [[link removed]]
