Mitch McConnell's Super PAC announced last week that it is pledging $14.2 million to help MAGA Republican Herschel Walker win the Georgia Senate runoff.1

It's a grotesque amount of money. And it comes on the heels of Georgia's Republican Governor Brian Kemp, who just won reelection, handing over his entire campaign operation to bolster Walker's campaign.2

John, we cannot lose Senator Raphael Warnock's voice and leadership in the Senate.

Reverend Warnock is a civil rights leader and a powerful champion for working people, voting rights, and democracy.

He finished in first place on Election Day—just not over the 50% threshold needed to avoid a runoff election. And he won the Georgia runoff last January with the help of MoveOn members. Together, we can help him do it again just 16 days from today.

And, if Rev. Warnock wins reelection, the Democrats will have 51 votes rather than a 50-50 Senate.

In a 50-50 Senate, committees are evenly split between Democrats and Republicans, which causes many challenges, including that Republicans can block President Joe Biden's judicial nominations in the Judiciary Committee.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, it's never been more important to fill open seats on the federal judiciary.

John, winning the Georgia runoff is MoveOn's top priority right now, and we're all-hands-on-deck to reach voters and turn them out to the polls.

This is the work MoveOn does best, and what we know works: turning out the surge voters—young people and voters of colors, many of whom voted for the first time in 2018 or 2020—who put Warnock over the top on Election Day and who can do it again on December 6.
