That’s right – NDRC-endorsed candidates for secretary of state defeated MAGA election deniers in Arizona, Nevada, and Michigan. And our endorsed gubernatorial candidates defeated election deniers in even more states!

Here’s what President Obama had to say:

"I can't emphasize enough how much Secretary of State races matter. They don’t always get the most attention, but they’re crucial to ensuring we have fair elections—and this time, voters across the country chose candidates who will fight for democracy." – Barack Obama

But while this is great news, keep in mind that many election deniers WERE elected on November 8 – including Republican governors like Florida’s Ron DeSantis, U.S. Senate candidates like Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson and Ohio’s J.D. Vance, and dozens of U.S. House candidates.
