Friends,

I want to thank you for all your hard work. I'm truly honored and humbled to be your voice in Congress. You are the reason why I'm here -- and I'll never forget that.

I was raised to believe that you’re supposed to love your neighbor. My pastor preached that every Sunday. I don’t know where we went wrong, but your support makes me optimistic that we can restore America as a beacon of hope and opportunity for all who call this land home.

From fighting to treat immigrants and migrant children with dignity to passing a bill to increase the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour, you've helped me take on some of the worst aspects of this administration's agenda and fight for working people.

I will continue to stand up to those who want to divide us, but I can't do it alone. Unlike some other elected officials, I refuse to accept any corporate PAC donations.

Look, I rely on grassroots supporters like you, and that’s why I have to ask you to chip in before end-of-month deadlines like the one we have on Wednesday night. If you can, please make a contribution of $3 or more.

When we started this journey together, I promised to lead with accountability in Washington -- to listen and engage, even with people who disagree with me.

Since being sworn into Congress, I've held 17 town halls across all 11 counties of New York’s 19th District. And by the end of August, I’ll have conducted 22 town halls -- two in every county. Having open, civil, substantive conversations on any issue people want to discuss, from the opioid crisis to climate change or our economy, will always be a top priority.

Some folks ask me where I get the energy to fight every day for working folks in Congress, to talk with voters all across the district, and to find quality family time with my wife and two kids.

Here’s what I always tell them:

You give me that energy. You are the heart and soul of this campaign. And you are the reason why I know we’ll hit Wednesday’s end-of-month fundraising goal.

Let’s keep working to bring people together. To love thy neighbor. To restore the promise of America as the land of opportunity for all. Chip in $3 or more before Wednesday’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.

Thank you,

-- Antonio Delgado
