John, on Universal Children’s Day, we come together to recognize the rights all children deserve – the right to food, health care, education and protection. But although these rights are enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we still have a lot of work to do to ensure all children are actively respected, protected and fulfilled.
That’s why we’re working every single day to help children grow up healthy, educated and safe. And because we know you care about supporting this incredibly important work, we are sharing an exciting Universal Children's Day match offer: Today, your gift can go 3X as far to protect children. A generous group of donors has created a matching gift fund, which is 3X MATCHING all gifts until our $500,000 match fund is exhausted.
That means every dollar you give toward our Universal Children’s Day goal will be multiplied 3X to support children in need – so please, will you rush a gift now to take advantage of this incredible triple-match offer?

It might seem mainstream today, but when Save the Children was founded more than 100 years ago, the idea that children had rights was revolutionary.
Our founder Eglantyne Jebb was actually arrested and fined for protesting against the suffering of children during World War I, but the judge was so impressed with her determination to help children in need that he personally paid the fine. Today we consider that to be the first donation to Save the Children – the beginning of a long legacy of generous supporters who have helped us change the lives of over 1 billion children. You’re a part of that legacy too, John.
So please, make a gift before midnight tomorrow to build on that legacy, to multiply every dollar 3X and to help millions more children get the resources and care they need to build the brighter futures they deserve.
