Worker freedom is critical to the strength of the economy.

Most understand that it is a good thing for people to have the chance to be their own boss because it provides a variety of options to make money. But Biden’s executive action is trying to dramatically restrict these options with two new labor regulations <[link removed]>.

The franchise business model <[link removed]> employs over 750,000 workers as independent franchise owners. These franchise owners operate their stores as their own bosses, but Biden’s new regulation would turn them into middle management for their corporation.

This seriously jeopardizes the jobs of 8.4 million workers employed under the franchise business model, including the work of the independent franchise owners.
If that’s not bad enough, Biden is also trying to force independent “gig” workers <[link removed]> into an employee-employer relationship that would strip them from all the incentives of being an independent worker with flexibility to set their own hours.

This would affect millions of workers including truck drivers, freelancers, Lyft and Uber drivers, and more!
The bureaucracy won’t stand up for workers. They only seek to impose their restrictive and outdated view of work upon others. That is why we must take the fight to them.

Taking just TWO minutes to submit TWO comments will go a long way to delaying the implementation of these rules, and may even cause them to be repealed.
