At Farm Sanctuary, turkeys like George have the space to be themselves.

George, "The Homebody" of the flock, enjoys cozying up in the barn - whether nesting in straw or snuggling with friends. But when she's in the mood for attention or treats, George nudges her way through the group to claim her creature comforts.

At George's former home - a small, overcrowded coop - she lacked the freedom and privacy to live as she pleased. Her guardian wanted George to have a better life and asked if we could give her a place to spread her wings.

Help us keep George happy and comfortable by joining our Adopt a Turkey Project today.

A one-time $35 gift will support her food, shelter, and care, along with our ongoing work to find safe homes for turkeys still in need.

Will you adopt George for the holidays this year?

ADOPT GEORGE

Our Adopt a Turkey Project is a decades-long tradition changing how people view and treat our feathered friends. Now, you can help us share who turkeys really are: sentient, unique individuals, not the lifeless meat the industry wants you to see.

To show our appreciation, we'll send you an adoption certificate featuring photos and facts about George.

Sponsoring a turkey also makes a great holiday gift for someone you love!
