Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday with family and loved ones. Now begins a new year and decade. A new year is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts, but it is also a time to look back and reflect on all that we have accomplished. 2019 was a busy year serving on three committees, but I am proud of all that my office was able to accomplish for Arizonans. Here are some of our 2019 accomplishments:

• Passed two of my bills out of the House to protect our national security.
• Introduced six bills to solve the illegal immigration and border crisis.
• Assisted nearly 1,000 constituents who needed help with veterans’ issues, Social Security, Medicare, and more resulting in a savings of $659,299.67 for constituents!
• Planned 410 U.S. Capitol tours for families from our district.
• Answered almost 90,000 phone calls, letters, and emails from constituents.
• Cosponsored 214 bills and resolutions.
• Opened a new district office in Surprise, AZ.
• And more!

Attended a press conference with Gold Star Mothers like Debbie Lee to speak about the importance of supporting our men and women in uniform.

Hosted monthly breakfast meetings with members of the Arizona delegation from both sides of the aisle.

Commemorated Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Capitol Hill as the Republican Chair of the Bipartisan Women's Caucus and the Domestic Violence Working Group 

Met with veterans all over the district and assisted 200 veterans with casework.

I’ve certainly kept busy this year and I love the job! Serving the people of CD8 is an honor and a privilege, and I am blessed to have the opportunity. Thank you, and may God continue to bless you, your family, and our great Nation in the new year and decade!
