Last week, I officially filed to run for the U.S. Senate against Mitch McConnell.

Friend, it's official: Last week, I filed papers to run for the U.S. Senate against Mitch McConnell.

I was in good company as I did it: The signatures on my filing paperwork came from Martha Layne Collins, the first (and only) woman governor of Kentucky, and my mom Marianne, one of the first women to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Remember this, friend: What made this milestone possible was months upon months of hard work and dedication from this team. People like you have put this operation on the strongest footing possible to challenge and defeat Mitch in November.

The papers are in and the t’s are crossed (no i’s to dot in my name, of course). Now, all we have to do is get to work. If we step up the way we did in 2019, anything is possible. (Just ask our new governor, Andy Beshear. We stopped by his new office; my 5-year-old George loved his big chair).

Chip in now and let’s lay the groundwork to confirm that Mitch McConnell will never again represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate.

Thank you,
Amy
