Weekend Service Impacts
Temporary Construction Reroute?for Routes 257 and ST 545; Transit service to Seattle will be rerouted off 5 Ave between Seneca St and S Dearborn St?on Friday, November 18, from 7 p.m. through Monday, November 21 at 6 a.m.;
Temporary Bus Stop Closures?on 5 Ave in Downtown Seattle; Transit stops will be closed due to construction on Friday, November 18, from 7 p.m. through Monday, November 21 at 6 a.m.;
Stop 810, 5 Ave & Marion St (southbound), just north of Marion St will be temporarily closed;
Stop 800, 5 Ave & Spring St (southbound), just south of Spring St will be temporarily closed;
Event Reroute?for?Routes 44 and 73; Transit service will be rerouted in the Montlake-area for the Husky football game on Saturday, November 19, from 4 p.m. until traffic clears;

Seattle Center Monorail?will operate it's regular schedule all weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
Water Taxi?has transitioned to?winter schedules. The seven-day-a-week?service will run from approximately 6 a.m. weekdays (8:30 a.m. weekends) to 7 p.m.;?

Metro offers Apprenticeship programs in Rail, Transit Facilities & Vehicle Maintenance. Our apprentices participate in closely supervised on-the-job training and classroom education to help advance skills and careers.

2023-24 Budget Approved by County Council?
The Metropolitan King County Council has unanimously approved the 2023-24 King County Budget proposed by King County Executive Dow Constantine.
The adopted budget supports King County Metro cornerstones including fleet electrification, ridership recovery, safety, and organizational health. It prioritizes investments where needs are greatest, aligns with the agency?s and King County?s policies, and balances Metro?s short-term progress with longer-term positioning to advance healthy communities, a sustainable environment, and a thriving economy.
