MARCH ON is dedicated to increasing voter turnout and driving Democrats to the polls. Our data-driven solutions helped defeat Donald Trump in in 2020. Now, we're gearing up to hold the House and Senate in 2022 to advance our progressive agenda.

Hey Friend!

Since August, our team has been spearheading youth-led organizing efforts in Arizona and Georgia – working with 800+ organizers to register a wave of new voters and boost turnout in the midterm elections.

And this was a historic election for youth voters – researchers at Tufts University estimate that 27% of young people aged 18-29 turned out to vote, likely making the difference in close races and blocking the predicted “red wave.”

As we reflect on this monumental election, we wanted to share some highlights from our Youth Organizing Coalitions in Arizona and Georgia – as well as remind Georgia voters to cast your ballot in the runoff election on December 6th!

In Georgia, our youth-led Peaches for Progress coalition organized against an unprecedented wave of Republican-led voter suppression to help educate voters, get out the vote, and keep Georgia blue!

We partnered with organizations like the Georgia NAACP, the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition, Black Voters Matter, and the New Georgia Project to reach 400,000+ voters with text bank power hours and engaging community events.

From our Peaches to the Polls Block Party, to our Drag to the Polls Renaissance Ball Soirée, to our 2nd annual Skate to the Senate event, we gathered Georgians together to spread the word about the upcoming election and make sure every eligible voter could make their voice heard!

In Arizona, our Young Voters Coalition helped mobilize 1,500,000+ voters for HUGE Democratic victories statewide – including reelecting Senator Mark Kelly and defeating election-deniers in the Governor and Secretary of State races!

We partnered with organizations like the Arizona Students’ Association, Fuerte, and the Arizona NAACP Youth & College chapters to register new voters across college campuses, call and text voters to remind them about the midterm elections, and knock on doors to get out the vote.

Our coalition also held exciting events to bring young Arizonans together in community and spread awareness about the upcoming election – including Phochella, a festival celebrating local art, music, and culture!

Friend, our on-the-ground work in Arizona and Georgia wouldn’t have been possible without the support of grassroots activists like you. If you turned out to one of our community events, joined a phone bank or text bank, or volunteered to protect the vote as a poll monitor, we thank you for your time and work on behalf of our democracy.

In solidarity,

Team MARCH ON
