Recently on Fox's "Hannity," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo informed viewers that Qasem Soleimani was on the move because he was "building out what they were referring to as the big attack" which could have "killed dozens or hundreds of Americans."
According to Breitbart, Pompeo stated ([link removed]), "Soleimani, the terrorist, was engaged in active plotting. There was an attack that was imminent that could have killed dozens or hundreds of Americans. We found an opportunity and we delivered."
Pompeo then said, "He was traveling the region when he landed in Baghdad. The travels before that put him in places all around the region, which were aimed solely at building out what they were referring to as the big attack. They were aiming to take down significant amounts of Americans. It would've undoubtedly killed locals too. Iraqis, Lebanese, Syrians, perhaps, people all throughout the region. "Well we did - the guy's name was Usama bin Laden," Biden responded.
"Didn't you tell President Obama not to go after bin Laden that day?" Fox News asked.
"No, I didn't," Biden said.

JUST IN Republican Condemns Trump's Actions In Iran?

Did he forget Iran attacked first?
In a recent interview with Fox News, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) claimed that it was "much more likely" that Iran, its militias, and proxies will now attack the U.S. following the death of Qasem Soleimani.
According to Breitbart ([link removed]), Paul stated, "I think the problem is that there is an open question whether or not attacks from Iran are more or less likely. You can say that Soleimani was plotting to attack the U.S., that may well be true. But with his death, do you think it's more or less likely that Iran and their militias and their proxies will attack the U.S? I would argue that it's much more likely."
Adding, "I think without a declaration of war, without Congress and the American people behind it, what you get is a messy mission. You get a mission of escalating, intermittent violence, but it really has no purpose or plan. And the country doesn't — hasn't been told to be united. The president said he didn't want perpetual war in the Middle East. But he's adding more and more troops. If you don't want perpetual war, you don't keep sending more targets over there."
