Working to Get America Back on Track The new House Republican majority will fight for a Congress that works for all Kansans—not the other way around. Reckless Spending has Fueled Record Inflation For almost two years, Kansas families have been forced to foot the bill for President Biden's failed economic agenda—this holiday season will be no different.  According to the American Farm Bureau, Thanksgiving dinner will cost 20% more than last year! Inflation is crushing family budgets. Food, housing, and energy costs are all soaring, and Kansans are losing an average of $735 per month. Washington needs to stop the reckless federal spending that's fueling out-of-control inflation. Celebrating the Successful Launch of Artemis I For the first time in half a century, the United States is headed back to the moon! As a member of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, I'm proud to support this historic mission. Congratulations to the entire Artemis Team on a successful launch this week. Read more HERE Fighting to Secure our Southern Border Roughly 4 million illegal immigrants have crossed the southern border since President Biden took office. This week, I asked Secretary Mayorkas if he has any intentions of stepping down. He said no. I hope for the safety of the American people that Secretary Mayorkas reconsiders. Watch HERE Ending Title 42 is a disastrous ruling will cause a surge of illegal immigration and even more chaos at the border. Congress must pass legislation to keep Title 42 in place until the record number of illegal border crossings drops to a manageable level for our brave Border Patrol agents. Read more HERE Working to Lower Energy Costs for Kansans As energy prices continue to soar, Republicans are working to bring down costs for families and businesses across Kansas: Maximize production of reliable, American-made energy Cut the permitting process time in half to reduce reliance on foreign countries, prevent rolling blackouts, and lower the cost of gas and utilities Finding Solutions to Rising Input Costs for Kansas Producers Farm input costs continue to soar under the Biden Administration.  Republicans are working to pass the Reducing Farm Input Costs and Barriers to Domestic Production Act to help ease supply chain disruptions, lower energy costs, roll back burdensome regulations, and provide immediate relief to farmers and ranchers across Kansas. Mourning the Passing of Kansas Air National Guard Airman It has been an honor visiting with and getting to know some of the brave men and women who serve in the 190th Air Refueling Wing.
