Did you know we’re already on the ballot in 2023, team?
It’s true. Ground Game Texas submitted more than 39,000 signatures to secure a first-of-its-kind climate charter initiative on the May 2023 ballot in El Paso.
This unprecedented initiative we launched with Sunrise Movement El Paso will create a citywide climate agenda in El Paso that will create green jobs, conserve water, promote sustainable energy, and reduce the city’s contribution to climate change. It will help put El Paso on the map as a national leader in the fight to tackle the climate crisis.
We’re so excited about this initiative. And we think that with your help we can launch initiatives similar to this one across Texas that will bring progressive change to our state. Can you chip in $25 or whatever you can afford to help us keep up this incredible momentum? [[link removed]]

Team, political leaders in Texas have done nothing to respond to the global threat of climate change. They’ve helped line the pockets of the oil and gas industry and left our state vulnerable to disasters like the winter power crisis. Meanwhile, our state experiences more natural disasters and record heat waves every year.
At Ground Game Texas we believe that change comes from the ground up. That’s why we’re not waiting for our political leaders to act. We’re putting climate action directly on the ballot for voters—in a city that is on the frontlines of the climate crisis. With your help, we can make El Paso a model for the nation in the fight to tackle the climate crisis.
Can you chip in $25 to help us pass this initiative and organize Texans around progressive change in 2023? [[link removed]]
