Help kick off the 2020 Presidential campaign.

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope this holiday season brought you comfort and joy. To me, it also brought a new sense of urgency. It is finally 2020, and although it seemed like the four years after the 2016 election would never pass, 2020 means we will be voting Donald Trump out of office.

I want to help elect a strong leader who will not need training on day one. I believe that leader is Vice President Joe Biden.

The Biden for President campaign is hosting a statewide Day of Action in Iowa next Saturday, January 11, and they need our help. The campaign will provide transportation from Chicago's North Side (location TBD) to the Biden for President campaign office in Davenport (leaving Chicago at 8 am and leaving Davenport at 5:30 pm). Volunteers will be trained onsite by the campaign staff and will be knocking on doors in the Davenport area.

This day will kick off the campaign's out-of-state program, where hundreds of people from across the country will be driving, flying, and taking trains in to knock on doors for Joe. Joe is in Iowa as I write this, on the ground talking to voters across the state. He can’t talk to every voter alone - but with your help, the campaign organization can. Let’s show them Illinois is helping win the first Democratic primary state.
