There's hope in China, where WildAid billboards in 204 cities received three billion views and inspired more than 90% of the surveyed audience to take action to protect tigers.
There’s hope in Uganda and Kenya, where “Smelly Elephant Repellent” significantly reduced elephant crop-raiding and proved to be an affordable solution to reducing conflict between elephants and humans.
There’s hope in Ecuador’s protected mangrove forests, Mexico’s Scorpion Reef—and there’s hope in the adorable, white-bellied rescued pangolin named Neal, who’s inspired so many to fight wildlife trafficking.
Unfortunately, there are still so many threats.
Carbon emissions are still skyrocketing. Animals are still going extinct at an alarming rate. Coral bleaching still threatens to turn the “rainforests of the sea” into deserts. Wet markets still inflict needless animal suffering and spread deadly diseases.
