Hi folks —
This week, the House majority was officially called in Republicans’ favor.
Like I’ve always said, I’m committed to working with anyone and everyone to get things done for the people of North Carolina — and I’ll do everything in my power to continue to pass legislation that embodies our values of fairness, equality and progress in the 118th Congress.
But I’ll be honest, it’ll be a lot tougher to accomplish our priorities with the gavel in Kevin McCarthy’s hands.
That’s why these next seven weeks are so important. We still have time to pass critical legislation with Democratic majorities in the House and the Senate. And with so many important fights ahead — from passing a budget to protecting the right to marry who you love — we can’t let a minute go to waste.
I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get back to work fighting for the people of North Carolina, but first, I’d love to hear from you. I want to make sure the work I do in Congress is addressing your concerns, and the best way I know how to do that is by reaching out to ask for your input directly.
So folks, will you take a minute (or two, tops!) to fill out my Post-Election Priority Survey and let me know what issues are most important to you right now? [[link removed]]

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with me today, I look forward to reading your responses.
Onwards,
