What does unity mean to you?

Hi Friend,

Now that the midterm elections are past us (I hear they are nearly done counting the votes ... almost), we want to find out what your views are on the best way to move forward together with the No Labels movement.

Working for two-party solutions during what is shaping up to be a pretty polarized 2023 and 2024 will not be easy.

In order to get the best input from our stakeholders, I’m asking you to take just a few minutes and answer 5 quick questions (that you can find here), in what we are affectionally calling the No Labels November 2022 Survey Spectacular!

While none of the questions are in the form of true/false, they are all pretty straightforward and your answers will be vitally important in guiding our work in the weeks and months ahead.

So please act now, fill out the survey, and share your ideas with us.

P.S.

The first 10 people who fill out the survey will get a No Labels goodie bag! Not in a rush? No problem! We are also selecting 10 additional folks, chosen at random, for a swag bag gift as well.

P.P.S.

Again, you can find the survey here.

Thanks for being an essential part of what we do together.

Happy answering!

Five Facts on 'Ballot Harvesting'

In recent elections, more Americans are casting their ballots earlier, often by mail. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many states loosened their voting laws to make it easier to vote by mail, including by allowing voters to designate someone else to drop off a ballot for them. Many states allowed this practice for the elderly or infirmed, but there’s growing concern that new laws open the door to ‘ballot harvesting’, a controversial practice where political operatives collect mail-in ballots to submit on the behalf of voters.

Smart Chart: Election Denier

In September, we highlighted the concerning number of election deniers running in the 2022 midterms for statewide positions that could affect how votes in the 2024 elections are counted. According to the States United Democracy Center, in 43 races across 28 states, someone running for governor, attorney general, or secretary of state cast doubts on the integrity of the 2020 elections.

A Moonshot to Unite the Country

A NASA rocket is on its way to the moon carrying an unmanned Orion capsule on a 25-day test flight to orbit the Moon. The mission represents a huge leap forward in NASA’s Artemis Project, which plans to return humans to our celestial neighbor by 2025. But, it also represents an opportunity for Americans to set aside their differences and celebrate a truly remarkable achievement.

What Are the Exit Polls Saying About 2024?

Exit polling from voters shows 73% of voters were dissatisfied or angry with the state of affairs in the U.S. 72% of voters think the state of the economy is ‘not so good’ or ‘poor’. And 68% of voters think democracy in the U.S. is at least somewhat threatened, including 36% who feel it’s ‘very threatened.’
