Washington, D.C. – This week, Republicans officially won the House majority and fired Speaker Pelosi. For two years, every single American has suffered under a Democrat majority as inflation continues to hit record highs, gas prices are through the roof, crime is skyrocketing, and our broken border lets in deadly drugs, violent criminals, and known terrorists. When control of the House changes in January, I will work to address these crises and pass pragmatic legislation for all of North Texas. On Tuesday, I spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives to honor the late Terry Barker, a Keller resident, Army veteran, and retired American Airlines Pilot who lost his life in the Dallas Air Show crash over the weekend. Texas-24 mourns the loss of Terry Barker. Please join me in praying for his family and all of those affected by this tragedy. You can watch my remarks by clicking here or on the image below. I enjoyed visiting with the North Texas Commission, a public-private partnership dedicated to advancing the North Texas economy. I’m looking forward to our continued cooperation! Hometown Hero of the Week Our Texas-24 Hometown Hero of the Week is the late Terry Barker, a dedicated public servant, veteran, and friend to all. Rest in peace, Terry. Rep.
