John,
We have less than three weeks to reach as many Georgia voters as possible and make sure they turn out and vote during the Senate runoff election on December 6th.
This is why, on Tuesday, November 22, we’re joining a special phone bank launch with Martin Luther King III, Andrea Waters King and Ms. Helen Butler!
There’s a lot at stake in this runoff, and the results will make a huge impact in deciding the future of our social programs, economy, and communities and whether to invest in critically needed programs. We all need to work together to make sure that voters, especially those with low incomes and people of color, are able to get to the polls and make their voices heard.
Join us, our friends at the Voter Empowerment Collective and the Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda to call voters in Georgia, reminding them to vote on or before December 6th and providing all the information they need to make their voices heard at the ballot box. Click here to sign up today!
In 2021, 19 states—including Georgia—enacted 33 laws that make it more difficult for Americans to vote.1 These laws disproportionately suppress voter turnout from the most marginalized communities—communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and rural communities. These anti-democracy laws are a reaction to the historic, multiracial voter turnout we witnessed in the 2020 presidential election and the 2021 Georgia Senate runoff.
We can’t allow the extremists to win. We must do all we can to ensure that every eligible voter has the information and resources they need to make their voices heard at the ballot box in November. Our democracy depends on it.
Join us on Tuesday, November 22nd to call voters in Georgia!
Thank you for all you do to defend democracy,
Deborah Weinstein Executive Director, Coalition on Human Needs
