While this election gave our work a solid push forward, there's still much to do. The reality is that many states are still gerrymandered – and that had consequences for the 2022 election results.

Tens of millions of people are still living with gerrymandered maps in places like Texas, Georgia, Ohio, and more.
A number of gerrymandering lawsuits are making their way through state and federal courts.
Maps are expected to be redrawn in some states.
And the Supreme Court is hearing two critical cases that could determine the future of redistricting and voting rights.
