Wow, John. If this week was a
great week to be a Democrat, it's been an
incredible week to be a part of Run for Something.
This Election Day is shaping up to be our best one yet —
we’re on track for at least half of our candidates winning their races, including some really tough and really close fights.
We're celebrating victories everywhere from Little Rock, Arkansas, to Montgomery, Alabama, from California to Florida, and all points in between.
And it's all because of you, John. With you, we are building progressive power and making history in hundreds of races and communities.
Thank you.
You've already done SO much — and we can't thank you enough. We're already getting started with our 2023 plans. Chip in

In Minnesota,
Zaynab Mohamed became the youngest woman and one of the three first Black women ever elected to the state Senate.
In Alabama,
Phillip Ensler became the first Democrat to win an Alabama House seat in
12 years.
Hamida Dakane won her race to be the first Muslim woman of color to serve in the North Dakota House of Representatives.
We could keep going, but there are
hundreds more diverse young progressives who've made history, it would take a while… and we'll keep bragging about our winners as the year closes out, so stay tuned.
Overall, Run for Something elected officials will continue to be more than 50% women, nearly 60% people of color, and over 20% LGBTQIA+. And we're still counting.
We will keep you updated as we get more results in the days and weeks to come. In the meantime, enjoy this moment, you earned it.
