Newstead Abbey
Head to Lord Byron's ancestral home this festive season to experience a magical storybook Christmas.
This year the theme is Alice in Wonderland. Delight in festive storybook scenes with Alice, the White Rabbit and many more well-loved characters as you embark on a self-led walk through our historic house.
Each weekend in December (Saturday and Sunday), there will be a craft market in the cloisters with a range of local handmade goods. Craft stalls can be accessed either as part of the Storybook Christmas house tour, or via the shop if you're just visiting the gardens.
When you make your booking, why not add one of our famous Festive Afternoon Tea to your experience, or even a full Christmas dinner which is available every Sunday

Old Market Square
It's the first weekend for Nottingham's Winter Wonderland with lots of fun activities, market stalls, and festive treats to try.
You've probably heard about the amazing Sky Skate elevated ice path that lets skater glide above the Christmas market stalls in Old Market Square. Well, grab a ticket and make it part of an evening out.
The market is a great place to do a bit of shopping, with over 40 stalls you'll be able to find an exciting Christmas gift for family and friends.
There are over 20 food stalls serving a wide variety of foods including gourmet burgers, Yorkshire Pudding wraps and vegan cuisine from Nottingham's own Filthy Vegan. If you have a sweet tooth, there's treats galore including churros and crepes.

Wollaton Park
Just two weeks to go and Christmas at Wollaton will be back to light up those long winter evenings.
The new trail is completely redesigned this year with lots of new installations to enchant you.
Tickets are selling out in the most popular slots so get your booking made as soon as you can. If you pay Nottingham City Council council tax, you can save 10% on the price of your ticket, subject to availability taxpayer.

Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop
Woody the giant reindeer is lighting the way to the annual Plant Shop Christmas Market.
Come along to get your tree or pick up a gift for friends and family from over 30 artisan craft stalls.
Dogs are welcome. The shop and stalls are open every weekend from 10am until 4pm Sat and Sun.
You can book a magical Santa Claus Experience or make your own wreath at one of our wreath making workshops

Join veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis as, fuelled by love, the all-singing, all-dancing duo follow the stunning Haynes Sisters, Betty & Judy, to a Vermont lodge for a special Christmas show.
Their journey takes a misstep, and their rhythm is thrown off when they discover an old friend in desperate need of help.

Motorpoint Arena
Often characterised as a heavy, yet melodic rock band. Alter Bridge will be bringing their new album, Kings and Pawns to the Arena, for the first date of the UK leg of their international tour.
Formed in the early 2000's, the band is noted for its live performance and have a prog rock vibe that would not be out of place amongst the likes of Iron Maiden and Def Leppard.
The Nottingham date will see them supported by Grammy-winning rockers Halestorm and Mammoth VVH.
