When Susan Collins voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, she said she didn't believe he and the Supreme Court would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Everyone knew that was a ridiculous claim.
The president himself said it was going to happen the week before he nominated Brett Kavanaugh, and Republicans in the House and Senate have had this as a top priority for decades.
Now there is even less doubt:
Earlier this week, 39 Senators wrote a brief asking the Supreme Court to revisit Roe v. Wade. They want action, and they want it now.
And what is clear today -- more than ever -- is that Maine needs a Senator who will stand up for women's reproductive freedom, because Susan Collins has not.
Sara Gideon will be that champion. But she cannot do it alone:
Can you make a contribution to Sara Gideon's campaign? She needs your help in what will be a very difficult and close election.

While Brett Kavanaugh's biggest backers hold huge fundraisers for Susan Collins, it's up to us -- all of us -- to fight back. That is why your contribution is so important.
Thank you for chipping in.
