In Central Asia our Cru^® partners use humanitarian aid to build relationships with people in orphanages and remote communities. One of our partners met Nadir*, a single dad caring for his special-needs son, Basim. Overwhelmed by the responsibility, the child’s mother had abandoned them.

Being a single father in this part of the world is very rare, and Nadir had no other option but to leave his job to care for his son. He struggles to provide.

The winter coat, shipped and delivered because of partners like you, displayed the kindness of Jesus to this family in need. In their country’s freezing winter temperatures, proper clothing is a critical need.

Thanks to the relationship built through the gift of a coat, local staff members can keep ministering to Nadir and Basim. Now they know that God and His people care for them.
