As chair of our Progressive Caucus, it’s my job to make sure our
progressive agenda is front and center. For the last 2 years, I have
fought nonstop alongside our caucus for the lifesaving policies that will
actually address the crises we’re facing.

And it paid off, because we won – we won BIG. I’m talking about hundreds
of billions of dollars for climate action, infrastructure, gun reform,
veterans’ services, and more. Every single one of us will benefit from
Democrats’ historic wins this year.

I’m proud to say that we delivered for working families – and even with a
small GOP majority, we’re not going to stop. With the Presidency, the
Senate, and the pull of progressives, we’ll keep delivering for Americans.

Despite starting the term with an unprecedented act of political violence
on our nation’s Capitol, we remained undeterred. Let me remind you what
Democrats have achieved since then:

🚑  American Rescue Act to help families & businesses during the pandemic

🪖  PACT Act to guarantee veterans critical healthcare services

⚖️  First major gun reform legislation in decades to protect each other

🏗  Historic investment in infrastructure to rehabilitate our communities

🌎  Unprecedented legislation to invest in our climate, environment, and
people

💸  Canceled tens of thousands of dollars of student debt for millions of
Americans

🌱  Rescheduled cannabis and expunged records for millions of Americans

Even with a GOP majority in the House, we’re not going to stop. We’re
going to use our Senate majority, the Presidency, and the power of
progressives in the House to continue to fight for our climate, protect
reproductive rights, maintain democracy, raise the minimum wage, and pass
more of the overwhelmingly popular policies we need.
