Congratulations Riders, on helping us get Measure L passed! |

Measure L has all but passed! With only slightly over 5,800 votes left to count, Measure L is passing with 71.7% of the vote, guaranteeing its passage. At no point in the campaign did this result feel assured. Multiple polls put L significantly down from the 2/3rds it needed to pass. However, thanks to volunteers like you, we turned that around! Every little thing helps win a campaign like this. Literature drops and GOTV efforts are vital, but so is every window sign, social media post, and conversation with a friend or neighbor. A massive, huge thank you to everyone who spread the word that a “Yes” vote on L helps keep all of our critical transit services in San Francisco running! |

We’re not done. At Tuesday's MTA Board Meeting, SFMTA Director Jeffery Tumlin talked about the operational fiscal cliff the agency faces in 2025. While we need a local revenue source for operations, this challenge isn’t unique to SFMTA and MUNI, and Bay Area agencies are gearing up for a joint effort via the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to seek state funding to bridge the gap. The San Francisco Transit Riders will be engaging at both the local and regional levels. |
