"In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling."

- Exodus 15:13

Africa
-
Pray for local leaders in Uganda who have participated in workshops on domestic violence. These leaders are often the first people that a woman who experiences violence in her home will report to about the crime. Pray for them to understand the crime and grow in compassion for the women in their community that they can help protect.

Latin America
- Pray for our teams in Latin America who are working alongside local authorities and trained partners to protect women and children from violence, and please pray in particular for all their currently open court cases. As the new year begins, many cases that were paused in the courts during the holidays will resume. Please pray for strong momentum in these cases, and for swift justice for the survivors of violence we serve.South Asia
- Please pray for strong buy-in from our government partners at the start of this new year, as we seek to work together to rescue children and families from modern slavery. Local governments are the only ones who have authority to rescue those in need, so we need their help to bring freedom to those hurting. Pray they would not delay in initiating investigations, rescue operations and rehabilitative support for victims of human trafficking, and also pray they show continuing ownership over these issues long-term.

Southeast Asia
- Praise God for our new Director of Investigations in Bangkok! We had been praying for the candidate in this position since early 2019, and we are grateful to have hired a full-time director in the fall. The arrival of the permanent director has given stability to the Bangkok team and has allowed them to support cases forward more efficiently — praise the Lord!

- Please pray for wisdom and creativity for our volunteer teams in cities across the U.S. Pray for these volunteers as they plan for the year, outlining goals and strategies to rally financial resources, advocacy momentum and prayer support for the work of justice. Ask God to give them great joy as they build the movement to end slavery and stand up for survivors of violence.
