We hate to say we told you so, but… Pundits and pollsters spent the entire year predicting a huge red wave, even up until Election Day. The “experts” took high inflation and President Biden’s low approval ratings as warning signs that Republicans would win big this year. But we thought differently, and even did a poll a few months ago to back it up. What we found? Among younger Republican and independent women in battleground states, there was a THIRTY EIGHT (!!!) point shift towards the Democratic candidate when compared to an anti-choice Republican. That’s a HUGE deal. That’s an outcome-affecting shift. Women across the political spectrum care about their fundamental rights — and they showed it at the ballot box. And here at HER Time, we were one of the only organizations to see this coming and start organizing those women to come out and vote. We’ve proven that at HER Time, we know what we’re talking about. And we want to build on that work, putting out more polls in battleground districts and using the data to our advantage in the coming years.
