John, I wanted to make sure you saw this: |
John, the results on November 8 were encouraging for a lot of reasons. Even though we're short of a majority in the House, I was excited to see young folks, voters of color, and so many people make their voices heard.
In my first few days as a Congresswoman, I've had the amazing opportunity to meet with the members of the Congressional Prgressive Caucus, a wonderful group of people who want to see our country thrive like I do. These are the folks I want to work with, and I know we can achieve great things together. But Donald Trump is trying to get in the way.
We're fighting for big things, John: affordable housing, accessible and inclusive healthcare, quality education. But the far right is fighting just as hard for big businesses, and special interest groups – people who don't have your best interests at heart. So while I wholeheartedly believe in celebrating our victories, it's time to execute on all the things we've talked about. But these are big jobs, and I need your help. It only takes 30 seconds to donate – can I count on your support? |
