Nobody who is a victim of workplace abuse should face retaliation when coming forward
Team,
Nobody who is a victim of workplace abuse should face retaliation – or be ignored – when coming forward to report such abuse. But for too long, survivors of workplace assault and sexual harassment have been silenced with non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and non-disparagement clauses.
America can and should do better to protect the rights of working people and survivors of workplace harassment and assault. That's why yesterday, Derek proudly helped pass the Speak Out Act through the House.
If, like Derek, you are ready to put an end to workplace assault and harassment and close dangerous loopholes that give perpetrators the opportunity to evade the repercussions of their actions: Sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of the Speak Out Act today and urge President Biden to sign it into law ASAP. >>

Look, one-in-three women report having faced sexual harassment in the workplace, while members of marginalized communities – including low-wage workers, people of color, and LGBTQI+ individuals – are disproportionately impacted by workplace sexual harassment.
NDAs and non-disparagement clauses silence survivors of sexual assault and harassment and protect perpetrators.
Enough is enough. Derek proudly supported the Speak Out Act to prohibit the enforcement of non-disclosure agreements and non-disparagement clauses in cases of sexual assault and harassment.
It's time to empower survivors and ensure they can no longer be silenced. Please add your name and join Derek in calling on President Biden to make the Speak Out Act law without delay.
Thank you for your support,
