We did it, John:
Katie won her race and will become the next Governor of Arizona.
Voter turnout was absolutely critical here in Arizona — and while one statewide race has yet to be called, we have a strong chance of electing Democrats up and down the ticket. You made results like this possible, and we’re so thankful for your support.
Unfortunately, close races mean that Republicans are gearing up to fight back. While we don’t know what they have planned, so far several of the Republicans who have lost statewide races have not conceded to their Democratic opponents.
And after Kari Lake’s defeat, she tweeted this:
Let’s be clear: Refusing to accept the result of an election because you don’t like the outcome is unacceptable — and it’s this type of dangerous rhetoric that led to the deadly January 6 insurrection.
So we have to ask: Will you make a contribution now to help us prepare for anything coming our way, and make sure we have the resources to keep fighting for our democracy?
