Follow NASN on Social   President's Message Next week is Thanksgiving, and then it seems like it's a mad rush to the end of the year. First, we want to take a minute and let you know how thankful we are for you! Our NASN members are the backbone of our organization, and we are so thrilled we saw so many of you in person this year and virtually at Virtual NASN 2022 as well. Thank you for all you do for your schools, your communities, and NASN. Second, we know that it's impossible to pour from an empty cup. I encourage you to take some time to decompress and recharge your own batteries over the holiday week. I know it's hard—I find myself thinking of everything that *needs* to be done for everyone else. But the reality is that nobody will notice if you dusted your baseboards or if you only served two side dishes at Thanksgiving dinner. They just want to see you and enjoy time with you. So give yourself a break, take 5 minutes to yourself, and work on your own mental health. In the meantime, we here at NASN will be taking a much-deserved break, and we will not be publishing the Weekly Digest next week. We will return on Thursday, December 1.
